Whoever said that you have to wait until December to celebrate Christmas, has never been to Nordstrom's anniversary sale. This sale is like Christmas in August, which is also a good time to start buying gifts for the holidays. I take this opportunity every year to stock up on gifts for my family and friends. Every year Nordstrom's have their anniversary sale where new and best selling products are marked down. This year the sale will take place on August 19-30, with early access starting as early as August 13th. From my experience, sale items are usually products that are last season or just a product that did not perform well in the store. Basically sale items are, in most cases just products that stores are trying to get rid of the make room for new items. Nordstrom's anniversary sale is not that type sale. You will definitely find new items with deep discounts from some of your favorite brands. So ladies and gentlemen, put on your comfy shopping sneakers or grab your laptop because the sale of the year is amongst us.

Ways to Prepare for Sale
Utilize the wish list in the preview sale. This will make it easier when it is time to check out.
If you are shopping online set a alarm so you do not forget what time the sale starts. Things can sell out fast online. Online sales start at 9:30am ET/6:30am PT
When shopping in the store try to get there early to beat the crowd. Also don't forget to bring your mask! (this happens to me all the time)
If you do not have a Nordstrom credit card, signup for the "Nordy Club". This will allow you to earn rewards, get free basic alterations, and insider access.
If you can get a Nordstrom credit card, then get one! New cardmembers get a $60 bonus note and you will get to beat the rush and shop early.
